Thanks for our generous sponsors and donors, in 2025, Replant Clarksville is planting approximately 300 trees across six CMCSS school campuses. These trees are being professionally planted by a nursery and will be maintained by Replant Clarksville for their first two years. Replant Clarksville volunteers are assisting with planting an additional 50 trees at Civitan Park in a cooperative effort with Montgomery County Parks and Recreation.
All the trees being planted in 2025 are species native to Tennessee, including White Oak, Red Maple, Washington Hawthorne, Tulip Poplar, Eastern Redbud, and Bald Cypress.
Our goal is to plant the following number of trees, at a minimum:
- Year 1 – 350 Trees
- Year 2 – 500 Trees
- Year 3 – 800 Trees
- Year 4 – 1,500 Trees
5 year total trees planted = 5,000 +
Trees Planting locations and tree species will be determined by the Planning and Planting Committee with input from the Technical Review Committee.
